John W. Kern

John William Kern, 34, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, July 10, 1999, of injuries suffered in a mountain climbing accident.

The body was cremated. There will be no services.

Mr. Kern was born April 5, 1965, in Sioux City. He graduated from Akron-Westfield High School. He was employed with Donnelly Marketing, IBP Inc., and Wis/Pak Plastics before moving to Idaho in 1998.

Survivors include his father, Arthur Kern of Westfield, Iowa; three sisters, Virginia Wanned of Westfield, Lori Clingenpeel of Sioux City and Barb Donnelli of Boise; and a brother, Ted of Hawarden, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dono Kern, and his grandparents.
