Eva E. Kampfe
South Sioux City--Eva E. Kampfe, 89, Matney Colonial Manor, South Sioux City, died Thursday in the nursing home after a long illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Jack Becker Funeral Home in South Sioux City. The Rev. Robert S. Enck of St. Paul United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.
Mrs. Kampfe, the former Eva Bundy, was born Aug. 26, 1895, in Salem, Ind. and was a longtime South Sioux City resident. She married Walter C. Kampfe in 1922 at Elk Point, S.D. He died in March 1960 in Sioux City.
Survivors include one son, Edward of South Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Matney of South Sioux City and Mrs. Marvin (Alfreda) Jenkins of Hubbard, Neb.; one brother, Harry of Hinton, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Warriner of Salem; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
