Joseph Darwich, Sr., 69, Sioux
City , died Nov. 6 at a hospital
There. Surviving are a son, Joseph,
Jr., of Kingsley , a daughter
and six grand children . Rites
Tuesday in Sioux City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday,
Nov. 9 at the Anderson funeral
home at Sioux City for Mr. Joseph
Darwich Sr. Burial was in Graceland
Park cemetery. Mr. Darwich
Sr. is the father of Mr. Joe Darwich
who is band director of the
school here. A daughter, Mrs. Si
Jobeun of Sioux City and six grandchildren
survive. Mr. Darwich was
born in 1885 at Modia Syro and
came to the United States and to
Sioux City in 1907.
