Martha Henrietta Weston, 93, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at her residence.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Bode of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Martha was born July 30, 1909, in rural Moville, Iowa, on the family farm to William T. and Martha Ida (Rippke) Nagel. She graduated from Bronson High School in 1928.

She married Lee Arthur Weston on June 5, 1928. He died Feb. 22, 1940. The couple moved to the Morningside area shortly after their marriage. Martha worked as a seamstress for the Sioux City Casket Company and later the Dailey Casket Company.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include a brother, Ernest Nagel of Kingsley, Iowa; two nephews, Bill Nagel of Le Mars, Iowa, and Richard Nagel of Sacramento, Calif.; a niece, Lila Derby of Kingsley; two sisters-in-law, Alice Nagel and Marie Nagel, both of Sacramento; and several cousins.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Nagel and George Nagel; a sister, Marie Weston; two nieces; a nephew; a brother-in-law, Roy Weston; and a sister-in-law, Irene Nagel.
