SIOUX CITY -- Patricia M. Kelly, 35, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sunnybrook Community Church, with Mr. Chuck Jespersen officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave. Condolences may be sent online to meyerbroschapels.com.

Patty was born Feb. 3, 1975, in Sioux City, the daughter of Thomas and Marsha (Carda) Kelly. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools. She graduated from North High School in 1994. She graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 2007, with a degree in micro-computers and software support. She was currently employed at Countryside Retirement Home.

Her family was the most important part of her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and barbecues, playing cards and working on the computer.

Survivors include a son, Braden Kelly of Sioux City; a daughter, Isabellah Kelly of Sioux City; her mother, Marsha (Carda) Kelly and Bill Squire of Norfolk, Neb.; a brother, James Kelly and his wife, Ann of Sioux City; a niece, Rebecca Kelly of Sioux City; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas; an aunt, Theresa Davis; and grandparents, Floyd and Pauline Kelly and Frank and Hazel Carda.

Pallbearers will be Larry Carda, Tim Burke, John Evans, Andy White, Phillip Carda Jr. and Seth Saltzman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Puente, Sherri Moore, Melonie Dossou, Marie Handke and Tammy Menard.

A memorial will be established in Patty's name.
