RAYMOND A. TITUS
Raymond A. Titus, 72, 1421 W. Sixth St., retired foreman, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1988, at his residence after a long illness.
Services were at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Ries officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Titus was born May 10, 1915, in Mapleton, Iowa. He attended schools in Jefferson, S.D., and he had been a resident of Sioux City since 1939. He married Pierrette Rose “Pete” Demers, Dec. 18, 1939, Dakota City. He was a welder and foreman for the Wilson Trailer Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1977.
Mr. Titus was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Men’s Club of the church.
Survivors include his wife: a son, Joseph of Ontario, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Marino of Azle, Texas, Mrs. Marvin (Darlene) Peterson of Sioux City, and Mary Alice Swan of Frankfort, KY.; two brothers, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence Muecke is a niece of Mr. Titus; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
