Roy and Elaine Stone

Elaine Huot Stone was born August 11, 1923, youngest daughter of Raoul and Marie Hubert Huot, also of Salix. She attended St Joseph’s School, graduating in 1942.

She moved to Geraldine, Montana, in 1946, where she met and married Roy Stone, July 14, 1948. Roy is the son of John and Hilda Stone, natives of Vexjo, Sweden.

Roy and Elaine now live on the ranch that was homesteaded in 1910 by Roy’s father, John, where they raised winter wheat, barley, and cattle.
