Agnette (Holman) Olson born November 17, 1868 in Kristiansund, Norway, married Harry Olson on April 15, 1893 in Sioux City, Iowa. Agnette died August 19, 1907 in Sioux City, and is buried at Floyd Cemetery in Sioux City. Children: Alma Claudine, January 21, 1894 to October 14, 1939; Arthur Clarence, January 2, 1896 to February 2, 1946; Ollie Christine (Taylor), July 27, 1897; Helen Grace (Anderson), January 5, 1901; Mable, September 15, 1902 to September 26, 1902; George Lawrence, November 12, 1903 to May 2, 1957; and Harry Alvin, Sr, January 3, 1905 to December 13, 1973.

Agnette’s father was Anders Holman, born in Southern Norway. Anders Holman married a woman named Olive and lived in Menno, South Dakota. Agnette’s sisters and brother; Caroline (Holman) Goodman, Marie (Holman) Mattsen, and Goodman Holman.

Agnette lived in a yellow house on 1111 Dace Street in Sioux City where Harry Olson and she resided until her death. Agnette was skilled in making all her babies’ clothes by hand and washing them by hand too.
