William and Lucinda Millen

William Millen and Lucinda F Sawyer were married February 22, 1869. Three children were born to this union: William Cyrenus, 1871; Nettie Irene, 1874; and Charles C, 1876. All were born near York, Nebraska.

Children of Willyam Cyrenus and Fannie Lake were Edith, Hazel, Cecil, Floyd, Charlie, Lucile, Mable, Ralph and Ray.

Children of Edward H Ferry and Nettie Irene Ferry were Russell Lowell and Neva Irene.

The Millen family farmed near Cushing for a number of years, finally moving to Cushing in 1895.

Lucinda Millen and Nettie Millen Ferry were organists at the M.E. Church for many years.

William Millen was a soldier in the GAR for three and one half years during the Civil War.

The Millens, Lucinda and William passed away in Cushing, Iowa, and are buried in the family plot there.
