George Haafke

George Haafke was the ninth living child born in the Edward Haafke househoud. His brithdate was June 10, 1886. George, too, attended Elliot Creek Schol. He was received into the Elliot Creek Presbyterian Church on March 20, 1898.

George was a farmer all his life. He was single and later lived on the present Marshall Hill farm. George was a quiet man.

George died on March 14, 1928, presumably of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was only forty-two years old.
