Augusta Steinhoff Egger

Augusta, 1856-1941, seventh child of Henry and Julia (Yost) Steinhoff, married Jacob S Egger, son of Samuel and Magdalena Christmann Egger, in Monroe County, Ohio. They came by train in 1881 to the German City community. They lived at a number of sites in the area until purchasing the farm east of Holly Springs where the Egger sisters still reside.

Augusta and Jacob had ten children:
Rosina married Oscar Koontz.
Anna married Louis Sulsberger. Their children were Alvin, Irene Smith, Donald, Julia Baggs, and Johnny.
Freda married Clarence Sulsberger, bother of Louis. Their children were Vera Halverson, Edith Hanley, Marvin, Rex, Nina Heirigs and Darrell.

Albert married Maude Eichhorn. Their children were Everett, Victor and Augusta Overan.
