Francis Marion Baxley: Born 1834. Died 1913. Married Caroline Davis, born 1848. Francis served with the Iowa First Cavalry during the Civil War. Five children:

Lorenzo, born 1870, died 1951

Chris, one son.

Maggie (Baxley) Wallace.

Ollie (Baxley) Hoxie, five sons.

Arthur Tresslin: Born Nov 22, 1873. Died Apr 23, 1964. Married Feb 7, 1898, to Lillian Smith, daughter of James H and Isabella Pickenpaugh Smith. They farmed in the Climbing Hill, Ia area and in 1906, moved to Brown Co, Hecia, SD. Lived there six years. Moved back to Woodbury Co. Farmed until 1952. Retired to Hornick, Iowa. Five daughters

Goldie Fern: Born 1898. Died 1955. Married Milo Goodrich. No children.

Erma Ruth: Born 1903. Died 1980. Married Paul Jones. He died in 1944. Married Mike McDounnough. No children.

Grace Opal: Born 1904. Married Earl Unkel. He died 1943. Three children. Married Thorvold Mogensen. Betty married Darrel Weber, no children. Robert married Alice (Peggy) Green, nine children. Eldon married Margaret Marks, four children.

Jessie Lucille: Born 1909. Married Joe Sorenson. He died in 1972. One daughter. Married Bill Carr. He died 1978. Lois married Robert Morris, Jr, five children.

Zelda Faye: Born Aug 17, 1900. Died Dec 29, 1978. Married Jan 10, 1919 to Platt David Goodrich, son of Frank and Jessie Vermilyea Goodrich. Born Mar 9, 1900. Five children.
