On Saturday afternoon James Arnold passed away after several weeks’ illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday.

OBITUARY—James A. Arnold was born in Cattarugas Co., New York on March 26, 1822, and died at his home near Burr Oak, Feb. 17, 1917, aged 94 years 10 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Mary J. Scrivens Jan. 28, 1854. To this union were born four children, two sons and two daughters. One daughter preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Chas. F{?} of Merrill, Wis., and two sons, William H. and Edward F., both of Burr Oak, also five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Edie.
