Mr. and Mrs. Deno Kratz’s infant baby died Saturday morning at 6 o’clock. The little one has always been a sufferer. The funeral was held from the German Evangelical church Tuesday Rev. Scholer of Cresco officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Deno Kratz lost their baby boy last Saturday by death. He was about two months old and a great joy and comfort to his parents during his short stay. The sympathy of the community is with the parents in this their first loss by death. May God comfort them and bind up the wounds of their bleeding hearts. Interment was made at the Evangelical cemetery the fore part of the week, Rev. W. A. Scholer of Cresco officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Krueger and children drove down here from Florenceville last week Tuesday to attend the funeral on Tuesday of Mrs. K’s nephew, Jerome Theobold Kratz. They returned home on Thursday morning.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 7, 1916 and died Feb. 10, 1917. He is buried in the Evangelical United Brethran Cemetery.
