Knut Olfson, a pioneer resident of Ridgeway, passed away passed away{sic} at his home Saturday evening.

Knudt Alfson, of Ridgeway, passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, at the home of his son, John Alfson, where he has lived for some time. Mr. Alfson was born in Norway and was nearly 92 years of age. He leaves surviving, him four children, his wife having passed away about nine years ago. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with burial in the cemetery west of Ridgeway. Rev. Normann and Jordahl officiating.

Obituary
Knut Alfson, the oldest resident of Lincoln twp., was born March 3, 1828, in Ovre Tellamarken, Norway, died October 2nd, 1920. He emigrated 1851 and came to Moskeego, Wis., where he lived a few pears{sic} then moved to Iowa andsettled{sic} down on a farm two miles south of Ridgeway, where he spent most of his life. A few years ago he moved to town where he lived until his death, His wife and five children preceeded{sic} him in death. The four living to mourn his death are Mrs. J. Herman of Ledgewood, N. D., Albert of DeLarnere, N. D., Mrs. Nels Wemark and John of Ridgeway.
