Frank Hruska, Jr., passed away at the home of his parents on Saturday, Feb. 7th. Obituary next week.

Hruska.
Frank Hruska, son of John Hruska, Sr., of this town passed away a the home of his parents Saturday morning, Feb. 7, 1920, at about two o’clock a. m., after a long and lingering illness. About two years ago while at work as a carpenter Mr. Hruska and several others fell from a high scaffold and was severely hurt. He seemed to recover from this injury, but never become really well again and gradually became weaker so that for about the two last years he was unable to work at all. At the time of his death was 35 years, 7 months and 26 days. Funeral services were held from St. Wenceslaus Catholic church Monday morning Feb. 9th, Rev. J. P. Broz, officiating. The body ws escorted to its last resting place by members of the local lodge of M. W. A. of which the deceased was a member. He leaves to mourn his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hruska, Sr., two brothers, Joseph of Omaha, Neb., and John W. of this town, four sisters, Mrs. Frank Valenta of Lankin, N. D., Mrs. Jas. Frana of Calmer and Mrs. Frank Poshusta and Caroline of Spillville, Mr. Hruska was a likeable young man, upright and honorable which commended the esteem of all with whom he came in contact. His death is deeply deplored by his friends and relatives all of whom have the sympathy of the community in their loss. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Valenta and daughter Marcella, of Lankin, N. D., Victor and Joseph Valenta of Calmar and Mr. and Mrs. Jas.
