Death of Edward Rossley,
Monday morning E. R. Haines received a telegram from San Bernardino, Cal., addressed to the secretary of the Decorah lodge of Elks, stating that Edward Rossley was dead there. The telegram did not give cause of death or any particulars so it is supposed he died on Sunday. Mr. Haines conferred with his relatives and they decided to have the remains brought here for interment.

Cause of Death.
When the telegram was received announcing the death of Edward Rossley nothing was said regarding the cause so it was purely a matter of conjecture. Afterward the relatives received information that he died of an acute attack of seirrhosity{sic} or hardening of the liver. He was employed in San Bernardino and was taken ill and sent to the hospital the end coming in four days. The funeral was held at St. Benedict’s church last Sunday with a large attendance.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Apr. 20, 1873 and died Aug. 29, 1915. He is buried in St. Benedict Cemetery
