Died in Milwaukee.
Mrs. W. J. Schmitz, who was known in Decorah as Inger Tobiason, died Monday morning at a hospital in Milwaukee after a long and tedious illness. Mrs. Schmitz was born in Norway about fifty-five years ago and came to Decorah with her parents at the age of nine years. She was married to Mr. Schmitz about twenty-three years ago and has since resided in Milwaukee. She had many friends who will learn with regret of her death. The funeral was held yesterday at two o’clock. Among those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Marsh of Decorah.
