Ace Bush was up from Postville last Wednesday, called here by the death of his little niece Grace Peterson.

Grace, the five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Peterson, passed away at her home on Thursday morning after a short illness due to diabetes. The funeral was held on Monday at 1:00 p. m. from the M. E. church. The pall bearers were Marguerite Weiler, May Kohout, Edna Goddard, Edna Einwalter, George Summers and Richard Perkins. Her parents, three brothers, Luverne, Lester and Paul, and two sisters, Edna and Ruth, survive her. Those from out of town were Mrs. Geo. Warner and Miss Martha Bush of Mason City, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson and daughter Mildred of Ossian, Ace Bush of Postville and Mrs. Johnson of Washington. The entire community sympathize with the bereaved ones in their sorrow.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Aug. 10, 1910 and died Aug. 12, 1915. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
