OBITUARY.
Snider.
Edna Flocella Wanless, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Wanless, was born in Cresco Nov. 23, 1892. She graduated from the Sisters school in Cresco and also taught successfully for over a year in the rural schools of Howard and Winneshiek counties. Later she clerked in the Wonder store in this city.
On June 9, 1913, she was married to Mr. Frank E. Snider at Cresco. To this union three children were born.
After residing for about two years on the Snider farm near Canton, Minn., the family moved to a farm near Blooming Pra(i)rie, Minn., which has since been their home.
A short time ago Mr. and Mrs. Snider and children spent some time visiting relatives near Cresco and also at the home of their parents, returning to their home a week ago last Wednesday. On the next Saturday both Mr. and Mrs. Snider were taken sick with influenza. Medical aid was immediately summoned but Mrs. Snider grew worse, pleuri-pneumonia setting in. On Saturday morning, Jan. 24, 1919, surrounded by her family and parents she passed peacefully away.
To mourn her death she leaves her husband, Frank E. Snider, and three children, Dorothy Marie, Garth Thomas and Gertrude Ellen; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Wanless; four sisters, Mrs. Stella Walsh and Mrs. Charles Snyder of near Canton, Minn., Mrs. Harrison Claude of Delavan, Minn., and Thelma Gertrude of Cresco.
The body was brought to Cresco last Saturday evening and on Monday was conveyed to St. Agnes’ church at Plymouth Rock, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. Father Tebeau; burial in the adjoining cemetery.Card of Thanks,
