Grandmother Kipta of near Calmar died Friday morning, death being due to old age. Funeral was held to-day (Monday) at 10 o’clock at the St. Wenceslaus church. Rev. Broz performing the ceremony. The pall bearers were Jos. Slepicka, J. Hrushka, Anton Frana of Calmar and J. Sobolik and Fran Luzum of Conover.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Marie who was born in 1836.
