Mrs. Harold G. Swenson, who was operated upon for intestinal lesion about ten days previous, died last Saturday evening, the 19th, inst. Mrs. Swenson’s maiden name was Belle Petersen. She was born Feby. 20, 1882, at Springwater, this county, and was married to Mr. Swenson April 30, 1913. Beside her mother she is survived by her brothers Henry of Freeport, Clarence, residing at home, Martinus at Virginia, Minn., and Helmer at Sattre, and her sisters Mrs. Jonas Akre of Sattle, Mrs. Martin Akre of Highlandville, and Mrs. Th. Waldahl of Browerville, Minn. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the First Lutheran church, preceded by prayer at the home at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. I. B. Torrison officiating, and interment was made in the Norwegian cemetery. In his bereavement Mr. Swenson has the sympathy of many friends.
