Yesterday Wm. and Patrick Ronan received a telegram announcing the death of their brother Michael at Independence at 8:30 that morning of cancer of the liver. The deceased was the oldest in the family.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1857 and is buried in St. Johns Cemetery in Independence, IA.
