Word was received Saturday morning from Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Fosse, of Lanesboro, Minn., that their eldest daughter, Marjorie, had passed away with Spanish influenza. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon and interment made at Ridgeway Cemetery, Rev. Shoemaker officiating. The grief stricken ones have the sympathy of everyone in the loss of their loved one.

OBITUARY
FOSSE.
On Saturday morning, Oct. 12, 1918, after a brief illness from pneumonia covering nine days, Anna Marjorie Fosse, who was born at Calmar, Nov. 9th, 1912, passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Fosse, at Lanesboro, Minn., at the age of five years, 11 months and three days. The body was brought to Ridgeway, Iowa, for burial, the funeral service conducted y Rev. G. M. Shoemaker was held at the home of Marjorie’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Fosse of Ridgeway on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16th.
The little form was laid to rest in Ridgeway cemetery surrounded by banks of beautiful flowers.
To the grief stricken parents, little sister, grandparents and other relatives, their many friends extend most heartfelt sympathy.
Marjorie will be missed not only in the home left so sad and lonely because this little darling has gone from it, but she will be missed in the homes of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Fosse of Ridgeway and Mrs. Northcott of Calmar, and also in the Sunday School which she so dearly loved.
She cannot come to us but we may go to her.

She has wandered off to an unknown land,
And left us dreaming how very fair,
It needs must be, since she lingers there.”
