Bert Butz and Mrs. Ruddie Ernest came down from S. D. {the} other week to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. John Butz.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Butz German Meth. Cemetery shows this was Mary and that she was born April 2, 1856 and died Feb. 4, 1917.
