Brother Suddenly Dies.
T. F. Schmitz of Ossian was in the city last Friday night and we learned that he was called to Chicago the Saturday previous to attend the funeral of his brother, Jos. T. Schmitz. It was on Saturday Mr. Schmitz in his Chicago home was fixing some window curtains when the step ladder upon which he was standing slipped and threw him to the floor. The fall ruptured one of the blood vessels of his heart, causing almost instant death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1867 and died Nov. 14, 1913. He is buried in the Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago, IL
