W. H. Peckham and wife and W. C. Winn went to Burr Oak Monday to be present at the funeral of Willie Feltis.

Word was received here Friday morning of the serious illness of Willie Feltis at Tea, S. D. His father departed for that place at once. On Saturday morning another telegram was received saying that Willie had passed away at 7 o’clock that morning. His illness was very short as he was only taken sick on the Wednesday before his death. His death was caused by a fall he had a few years ago. His father and brothers returned with his body Saturday night. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the M. E. church. All of his brothers and sisters were here except Bessie and Ray, who are in Canada. He leaves a father, five brothers and four sisters and a host of friends to mourn his loss. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.
