Wednesday night about 11:30 occurred the death of Ernest Herr, of the firm of Weselmann & Herr. Mr. Herr has been ailing for some time. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held from the M. E. church Saturday afternoon, Rev. Blessin conducting the services.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 22, 1862 and died July 9, 1913. He is buried in the Calmar City Cemetery.
