A telegram was received Saturday announcing the death of Joseph P. Wangler at Carlsbad, N. M., at 6 a. m. the day before. The funeral was held in Little Rock, Ark., on Monday. The end was not a surprise to those most closely associated with him as it had been known for a number of months that he was gradually failing. During the years that Mr. Wangler was associated with his brother C. J. Wangler in the drug business here he won many friends through his sterling integrity and manly bearing. On April 18th 1901, Mr. Wangler was married to May Watterson who survives him. He is also survived by his mother and his brothers Charles J. Wangler of Decorah and Albert Wangler of Valley City, N. D.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1873 and died July 11, 1913. He is buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock, AR.
