OBITUARY.
TOSTEN T. ANDERSON.
On Saturday evening last at nine o’clock, Tosten T. Anderson, who has been ill at his home in this city since Easter, passed away death being due to paralysis. Mr. Anderson was a native of Numedal, Norway, his age being seventy-six years. He came to America about fifty years ago and the greater part of the intervening years, until he removed to Decorah eighteen years ago, were spent on a farm in Highland township. Beside his wife he is survived by two children, Mrs. G. N. Kjome of this city, and Gilbert Anderson, who lives on the old homestead. Another daughter, Mrs. O. J. Ness, died about two years ago. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the First Lutheran church. Mr. Anderson was a man of kindly impulses, a good citizen, and enjoyed the respect of many acquaintances.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 30, 1836. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
