Death of a Young Girl.
Anna Qualley, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Qualley of Madison township, died last week Wednesday at the home of John Rygg on Franklin street after an illness of two weeks from pneumonia and tonsilitis. Miss Qualley was attending Decorah high school at the time she became ill and death followed in spite of the best of care. The funeral was held Friday and was largely attended by friends and neighbors who sympathize deeply with the parents in their affliction. Rev. Schmidt officiated at the funeral and interment was made in the Haugen cemetery south of town.
