Mrs. C. J. Anderson returned to Sioux City Monday. She was called here by the death of her sister. Mrs. Austad.

Quite a few from here went to pay their last respects to the deceased Mrs. J. Austad at Decorah last Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Austad came down from Lemon, S. D., to attend the funeral of the former’s mother, Mrs. John Austad. Mr. Austad has returned back to Lemon, while Mrs. A. will remain to spend a few weeks visiting at her parental home.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Pauline who was born Nov. 2, 1855 and died April 40. 1912. She is buried in Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
