Deaths of Babies.
Tuesday morning the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Golz died very suddenly. When the water on Monday was getting high on the flats Mrs. Golz became nervous and Frank Bernatz then invited them to come to his house and stay, and the invitation was accepted. The baby, only eight days old, showed no signs of sickness. Tuesday morning Mrs. Bernatz took the child to relieve Mrs. Golz and she had carried it but a few moments when she saw something was wrong. A doctor was summoned but before he arrived the little one breathed its last in her arms.
