Sidney Roome was down from Minneapolis Monday to attend the funeral of his grandmother, Mrs. Bigelow.

Sunday morning at about 11 o’clock at the home of Dr. J. S. Roome occurred the death of Mrs. Lois Bigelow, Mrs. Roome’s mother, who for the past five years has made her home with her daughter. Mrs. Bigelow was 79 years old. Funeral services were held at the house on Monday afternoon. From there the remains were taken to Wisconsin and laid beside her husband.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Aug. 12, 1832 and died April 30, 1911. She is buried in the Medina Cemetery in Marshall, WI.
