Torbjorn Johnson who was reported ill last week, passed away on Friday afternoon at the home of B. P. Sjuros, where he has lately made his home. He had suffered a light attack of pneumonia recently, and his heard{?} could not stand the strain and he passed away quietly on Friday afternoon. We are without further particulars of his life.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born May, 1842 and died April 17, 1911. He is buried in the Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery. . However, his gravestone says he died in 1912 which is obviously an error.
