Mrs. Anna Hrnechek, a pioneer mother of this county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Pochusta of Mason City. She was brought here this morning for burial at the St. Wenceslaus cemetery. Services were held at the St. Wenceslaus church at 10 a. m., Rev. Broz officiating. Mrs. Hrnechek lived here for many years and was held by all with love and esteem. Her daughters, Mrs. Polda of Wyndmere, N. D., Mrs. Chas. Pochusta of Mason City and Mrs. Kobliska of Strawberry Point attended the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: St. Wenceslaus Cemetery records show she was born Dec. 1, 1827 and died Apr. 8, 1911.
