Mrs. Peter Meyer was called to Dubuque last week on account of her mother, Mrs. Cramer, having a stroke of paralysis, which resulted in her death on Sunday morning. The remains were taken to Elkader where Mrs. Cramer has made her home teh{sic} past few years. Peter Meyer and daughter Minnie also went to Elkader the first of the week.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Maria Kramer. She was born April 4, 1836 and died Oct. 22, 1910. She is buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Elkader, IA.
