Mrs. Anna Johnson passed away this morning at 5:30 after a few days’ of acute illness from bronchitis and heart disease. She has been an invalid for a number of years and her death did not come unexpected. She was 70 years of age the 22d of August. She leaves to mourn her death her husband Lars and two daughters, Mrs. Ole Thorson and Miss Anna who cared for her during her last illness, besides a host of friends. This makes the fourth death among the pioneers of this congregation this fall.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Aug. 22, 1840 and died Oct. 23, 1910. She is buried in the Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery.
