The funeral of Mrs. Wenzel Sobolik of Calmar was held here this morning at 10 o’clock from St. Wenceslaus church to the adjoining cemetery. A large crowd of relatives and friends from Calmar and vicinity drove down to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Wenzel Sobolik passed away at her home in town Saturday afternoon after a lingering illness. The funeral services were held at Spillville Tuesday afternoon. A large number attended.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Marie who was born May 25, 1841 and died Sept. 17. 1910.
