Brought Here for Burial.
On Saturday last, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. O. Preus of St. Paul, the second of the twin babies born to them in the spring, was brought to Decorah for burial beside the one that died a few days following its birth. From the first the physicians gave no hope that the little fellow could live but as the days went past and he continued to retain a hold upon life hope came that he might be spared to his parents. His little body proved too frail for the struggle and he died on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Preus and Norma Haugen, who has been visiting her sister, came with the remains and burial was made on Sunday. Rev. Carl Preus of Manitowoc also came.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Knute who was born Feb. 6, 1910 and died Aug. 6, 1910. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
