The remains of Mrs. Hiram Rosa of Ossian were interred in the Greenwood cemetery yesterday.

Mrs. Hiran Rosa passed away last Friday after suffering for the past five years with the dreaded disease, cancer. For the last year she was a constant care, and death came to her as a relief. The funeral services were held Monday at the Centennial church, Rev. Tippen conducting the services.

Mrs. Minerva Krumm came from West Union Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Sarah Rosa, which occurred on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kennedy of Decorah attended the funeral of Mrs. Rosa and spent the remainder of the day at F. Youmans’.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows this was Sarah who was born in 1842.
