Jerrine Robyn Arney, 68 of Frankville, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at her home. She was born August 7, 1954 in Postville, Iowa to Dickie Neil Hughes and Delores Arlene Krambeer. She graduated from Postville High School in 1973. Jerrine worked at Aase Haugen Home for many years before buying and running The Old Store in Frankville, Iowa.

On May 19, 1999, Jerrine was united in marriage with Paul Arney. They had no children. Jerrine spent a lot of time with her nephews and nieces as they grew and had their own children. They all loved her as much as she loved them.

Surviving Jerrine are her husband, Paul Franklin Arney; two step-daughters, Lisa Arney Ludgood of West Des Moines, Iowa and Erin Arney of Eugene, Oregon; her siblings, Mark (Penny) Hughes of Lawrence, Kansas, Clifford Hughes of Frankville, Iowa, Ted (Sue) Hughes of Postville, Iowa and Colleen (John) Finger of Frankville, Iowa.

Jerrine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Barry Hughes and Jeff Hughes; one niece; two great-nephews and one great-niece.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Frankville Cemetery in Frankville, Iowa.

Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Postville, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
