Sue Ann Anderson, 82, of Decorah, IA died Thursday May 11, 2023, at Barthell Eastern Star surrounded by her family.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a private burial with her family will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Department of Hospice cares at Winneshiek Medical Center.

Sue was born September 19, 1940, in Wichita, KS. Daughter of Clarence and Beulah (Smith) Rowley.

Sue loved golfing, traveling, fishing, shopping, entertaining family and friends, she had an unbelievable knack for decorating and fashion. Sue loved having coffee with her aerobics group, PEO, and spending as much time as possible with her family.

Sue is survived by her husband Bruce W Anderson, Decorah, IA; Two daughters: Lisa (Bill) Roberson Decorah, IA, Julie (Joe) Black Hutchinson, KS; Six grandchildren: Mackenzie (Jesse) Emanuel, Chandler (Leah) Roberson, Peyton (Josiah) Casterton, Cameron (Lauren) Cahn, Tyler (Haile) Cahn, Abby (Cameron) Lubbers; Four great grandchildren: Sawyer, Griffin, Josiah and Deacon; Former husband Bud (Trace) Hill.

Sue is preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence and Beulah (Smith) Rowley and sister Kay Lynn (Rowley) Griffin.

Sue and her family greatly appreciated the care she received for four years at Barthell Eastern Star.
