Stella and Clarence Ward from New Underwood and Ed. Ward from Fergus Falls, S. D., came last week to be at the bedside of their brother John, who passed away at his home Saturday morning at three o’clock. The sympathy of many friends go out to the wife and family in their sad bereavement. The funeral was held here yesterday at the M. E. church, Rev. Mellott officiating.

John Ward, who has been suffering with bright’s disease and diabetes, passed away Friday morning at three o’clock. He was laid at rest in the Burr Oak cemetery Monday afternoon.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 19, 1863 and died March 19, 1910.
