Lasta{sic} Thursday evening occurred the death of Thoams Morris. He has been confined to his home for more than fifteen months, in feeble health, and death came as a great relief to him. He was a resident this vicinity for more than thirty years, at one time being owner of the Chris. Schweinefus farm in Fayette county. He was unmarried, and leaves two sisters to mourn his loss The funeral services will take place to-morrow (Wednesday)at the St. Frances de Sales Catholic church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 16, 1840 and died Dec. 16, 1909.
