An Afflicted Family
On Sunday last Mrs. Ed. Golz passed away after a brief illness from typhoid fever. Her death is one of those sad cases where affliction seems to be visited in double measure upon a household. Her husband was just recovering from the disease when she became ill. Tired from caring for him, and worried for fear he might not recover, she became an easy victim, and lived only about ten days. Her maiden name was Amelia Thompson and she was born in Norway about thirty years ago. She was married to Mr. Golz in 1906 and is survived by her husband, two children and her parents. Much sympathy is felt for them in their bereavement. The funeral was held yesterday at the German Lutheran church, Rev. H. W. Schneider officiating, and interment was made in Phelps cemetery.
