CHARLES RANDALL DEAD.
Was Mason City Resident for 45 years—His Wife was Eliza Telford.
At an early hour last Friday morning C. H. Randall died at his home at Mason City after an illness of about four months, the immediate cause of death being septic poisoning. Mr. Randall was born in Chautauqua county, N. Y., on Sept. 6, 1860, and came to Iowa with his parents in 1863, locating at Mason City in the spring of the following year. He has literally grown up with the city, and in all of its activities has been one of the foremost movers. On Nov. 19th 1884, he was married to Elizabeth Telford of Decorah who with one daughter survives. The prominence that Mr. Randall enjoyed is shown by the fact that he served at one time as councilman from the second ward and was active in Masonic, Odd Fellows, Modern Woodmen and Ben Hur circles. The funeral was held last Friday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City, IA
