Old Residents Pass Away.

Yesterday morning Eugene Shaw was advised by telegram from Buffalo of the death, Tuesday evening, of Mrs. Emily B. Shaw, his stepmother, and that the remains would be sent to Decorah for burial. They will probably arrive here Friday, We are without data from which to write an obituary.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she died July 27, 1909 and is buried in Phelps Cemetery. The date of birth is unknown. Her gravestone shows she was the wife of Jesse B. Shaw.
