The funeral of the late Anton Kapinos took place last Monday at the St. Wenceslaus church, Rev. Father Broz performing the last rites.

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kapinos of Cresco were called to the bedside of their father A. Kapinos last Saturday but arrived too late to see him alive.

After a long illness, Anton Kapinos passed away last Saturday at 1:30 p. m., at the age of 48 years. Mr. Kapinos was a sufferer of that dreaded disease, consumption, since last winter. He is survived by a wife and one son, besides two brothers, Joseph of this place and Charles of Canute, Okla., and two sisters, Mrs. Elbling of McGregor and Mrs. Shuster of Milwaukee.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1861 and died June 26, 1909. He is buried in the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
