Mrs. Wm. Novak died suddenly Thursday evening. The family have recently moved up from Ossian and Mr. Novak is blacksmith in Mr. Miller’s wagon shop. The funeral was held Sunday in the Methodist church. Mrs. Brown, a Christian Science reader from Austin conducting the funeral. Mrs. Novak leaves a husband and three children, also brothers and sisters, to mourn her loss.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Elizabeth who was born Sept. 15, 1875 and died April 8, 1909. She is buried in the Calmar City Cemetery.
